Special preview – Adiga: Circassians in Israel

Special preview – Adiga: Circassians in Israel. A collection by James Arthur Allen. Winner of the 2016 Rebecca Vassie Memorial Award.

“One of the first stateless people in modern history, the Circassians of Israel are unique in retaining their traditions and identity while being among the only Muslims serving in the Israel Defense Forces. This project explores and documents an ancient nation and its place in the modern world.”
